• EasyDeskSoftware - Great selection of software tools to help you prevent Windows problems and to fix problems. Good tools for registry fixing, finding corrupted files and mis-matched windows DLL components.

• MicroSoft - The best place to get the usual MicroSoft stuff - and they usually have some nice software to download 
• ShareWare.Com - While not the biggest source, this is still one of the best sources of fresh shareware software 
• Channel 1 File Library - All files from the Channel One BBS, only new listings available without membership
• Seattle Labs - A better email program named EMurl, the SLmail email server for 95 and NT, SLnet Telnet server for NT, a well developed Commodore 64 emulator that supports the Commodore disk drive & more. Demo downloads available.
• ZiffDavisNet - from the publishers of many of your favorite PC magazines - lots of goodies here in software area 
• PC World Magazine - lots of goodies - fairly well organized
• ZDNet's Company Locator - Find info on many software and hardware companies here

• PC Magazine Online Great news, articles and software source with PC Magazine Download pages 
• The Shareware Zone - Galt's website is a good place to find shareware - Also a shareware newsletter is available 
• 32BIT.COM - Great place for Windows95 and NT software 
• Wotsit's Format - site contains file format information on hundreds of different file types and all sorts of other useful programming information; algorithms, source code, specifications, etc.

• Dave Central - Another source for shareware - definitely worth a looksee
• Shareware95 - Another Great source for shareware mainly for Windows95
• Nerd World : SOFTWARE - Lots of links to other software pages, collections, good searchable database
• Allen's Windows 95 Applications List - Lists of shareware, freeware and commercial demo software for Windows95
